Graduate courses

The Centre for Aboriginal Studies gives graduate students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Indigenous ways of working.

The graduate programs help you view Australia from an Indigenous perspective. You'll also gain the cultural competencies to engage meaningfully and appropriately with Indigenous communities.

We offer Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma programs in Indigenous Australian Cultural Studies. The courses cover the following areas:

  • Introduction to Indigenous Australians
  • Indigenous research
  • Working in Indigenous Australian context
  • Sustainable management and development.

The Graduate Certificate program runs for six months and the Graduate diploma program runs for a year. Some units in these courses are available externally.
