Premier's Indigenous Leaders Scholarship/Fellowship Scheme

The Premier's Indigenous Leaders Scholarship/Fellowship Scheme at Curtin has been established to enable outstanding Indigenous leaders to engage in scholarly activities that enhance their own professional development as well as providing a forum through which they can share their knowledge and experience gained throughout their lifetime.

As a general principle, priority will be given to scholarships over fellowships. Indigenous scholars will enrol and be supported for up to a maximum of three years in a Curtin post-graduate course of their choice and for which they qualify, but preferably a PhD.

Indigenous fellowships will be offered for up to one year. Fellows will not be required to enrol in a higher degree but will participate in various scholarly activities on Indigenous themes, including research, facilitating workshops and seminars, and/or teaching.
