Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS)
The Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) provides Indigenous students with academic support to supplement their course tutorial groups and seminars. Under the scheme, Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled at Curtin are entitled to personalised tutorial assistance on a weekly basis.
Hours are negotiated on a needs basis, and both individual and group tuition is available. In order to cater for the diverse locations of our students, CAS also provides casual ITAS tutors in many places around Australia. Tutorial rooms are also available on campus for individual and small group bookings.
