The Lillian Passmore Donovan Memorial Scholarship - 2008 Intake
The scholarship is aimed specifically at Indigenous people with an interest in pursuing a career in social work. The Scholarship recognises the contributions of Lillian Passmore Donovan, as an Indigenous woman committed to the field of social work and social justice. Lillian worked for three decades across a range of agencies both government and non-government in rural and urban settings. Her final position was with the Victim Support Unit in the Department of Justice. She also worked for the Western Australian Department for Community Development, the Aboriginal Accommodation Service and the Manguri Aboriginal Corporation. She worked in South Australia with the Department of Community Welfare as a Senior Aboriginal Community Development Worker and Senior Supervisor. Lillian won the Peter Jordan Award for Social Justice when graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Social Work in recognition of the quality of her practice and scholarship.

Chris Lewis Scholarship - 2008 Intake
Chris Lewis has been an inspiration to both young and old people with her courage in adversity, wonderful sporting skills and community service with young Indigenous people. He espouses great family values and has worked for the betterment of life in the community. In 2000, Chris Lewis received the John Curtin medal for his role as an Indigenous leader and his community work.

Aileen Plant Memorial Scholarship - 2008 Intake
The Aileen Plant Memorial Scholarship is intended for a student with an interest in Indigenous Public Health issues in Australia. Applicants should be enrolling in a Health Sciences degree at Curtin University of Technology in 2008. The scholarship is to honour the work of Aileen Plant in public health and in particular in Australian Indigenous health through encouraging and rewarding young students who demonstrate academic and leadership potential.

Curtin Access Scholarship
The Curtin Access Scholarship has been designed to assist students who may otherwise not have an opportunity to attend university due to educational, financial or other disadvantage (including indigenous students, students from rural and regional areas and students with disabilities). Students must be enrolling for the first year of their first degree in 2008.

Christine Morrow Scholarship
In 1977, as part of her Will, Anne Elizabeth Turner Morrow appointed the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) to be trustees of a special scholarship fund, in the name of her sister Christine Turner Morrow. Christine Morrow was not Aboriginal, but she was clearly concerned about the well-being of Aboriginal people, and as a lecturer at UWA, she understood the importance of education.

Eligibility criteria
In addition to being eligible for the Gloria Brennan Scholarship, the student must be West Australian. Previous winners of the Christine Morrow Scholarship may apply again.
Selection criteria
The selection committee will look for applicants who are able to demonstrate that their study will promote a greater understanding between the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities in Western Australia. Performance will need to be satisfactory, but will not be a primary basis for selection.
Master of Education
Queensland University of Technology's faculty of education offers two scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Master of Education program.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must hold an appropriate four-year bachelor degree or equivalent at a standard acceptable to the dean of the faculty, or hold an appropriate three-year bachelor degree and be able to demonstrate at least one year's appropriate professional experience.
