After all your hard work and committment to studying, you can celebrate by attending your graduation ceremony.
CAS pre-graduation event
The Centre for Aboriginal Studies holds a pre-graduation event every year for students who choose to take part in Curtin University's main graduation ceremony.
The CAS pre-graduation event is an opportunity for you to celebrate your achievements with your fellow students and your lecturers.
The ceremony usually includes an address from a respected member of the Indigenous community, followed by a light supper before the Curtin University graduation ceremony.
Should you wish to attend graduation, it should be remembered that the Centre for Aboriginal Studies is not responsible for arrangement or payment of travel or accommodation. Student travel costs are funded by Centrelink (please contact your local office for further details), any guests or family members attending will need to arrange and pay for their own travel plans.
Students completing Associate Degrees
Students need to be aware that you may only be able to attend the CAS Graduation Ceremony once, if you are considering enrolling into the Bachelor of Applied Science (ICMDP or ICHP) you may want to consider attending the Graduation Ceremony in the following year. If you do not wish to continue your studies into the Bachelor of Applied Science and wish to graduate from the Associate Degree (ICMDP or ICHP) you should attend this Graduation Ceremony.
