The Indigenous Tertiary Enabling Course has been designed to enable Indigenous students to gain entry into tertiary courses offered at Curtin, equipped with the skills, qualifications and confidence they need to succeed.

The course is a 6 month full-time program that provides support, knowledge and skills, while promoting a strong sense of Aboriginality in a way that values the student's cultural background.

Objectives

To provide Indigenous people with the necessary qualifications for entry into Curtin University of Technology degree programs.
To teach the study skills needed to be successful in higher education.
To promote a positive sense of Indigenous Identity, culture and heritage.
To increase career potential through degree programs
